Mayhem- A poem

Is it fair to be a creative mind subjected to technical punishment?

It is the worst thing that you can ever do to an artistic person,

We are free spirits and all we want to do is roam but at the same time build on our niche,

We want to be able to do anything we intend to

It saddens us when you lock us up,

give us unbearable burdens,

and restrict the endless possibilities in our heads,

We are stuck doing what we hate because some didn't even try,

Some of us don't make it out of other dreams and we are in bondage fulfilling theirs,

Others among us try but we are put down or they never notice us,

Let us stand up and keep trying to be creatives even thought the world says no, 

Even though opinions put us on a barren shelf, 

Whenever they force us with their technical power,

Let us show them that we won't be locked up,

Because we are free-spirits and free we shall be.
